Jessi Rivera received her MFA from Claremont Graduate University in 2013, and earned her BFA in Drawing and Painting from California State University, Fullerton.
Her current work looks at the empty bed as a document; photographs and large-scale paintings investigate platonic intimacy through the patterns left in unmade sheets.
